Guest presenter Vincent O’Byrne – 13th June
I am up next week as a guest speaker at Palmerstown, and I would like to tell you a few things about where I am at presently.
I have been working as a commercial photographer for 25 years but I also pursue fine art work for the purpose of exhibition and promoting the genre of fine art figure photography in this country. It is this personal work that has gained me recognition on the lecturing circuit.
I have a new tutorial on working with the figure, including, lighting, posing and the post production of 5 number fantasy images. The tutorial is 2 hours and shows just how simple it is to create really outstanding pieces of work from basic principles. The tutorial is down-loadable at http://www.vincentobyrnebeinspired.com for €79.99 or I will have it with me as a DVD on the evening for €35.00.
Also, I have an upcoming photo exhibition at the Dublin Camera Club titled POST PHOTOGRAPHY, a satirical and narrative set of images in the form of postage stamps. This is the first showing of the full series in it’s entirety in Europe. It is on from the 2nd of July this year.
I have attached a few snaps (beow) that allow you to see the type of work I do.
